Album Notes
Acquisotic is an extremely genre specific band. They write the best in Retro British Am Pop style. Songs are thoughtful, enlightening, uplifting and sometimes humanly sad. They incorporate strings, horns, lead guitars multi-layered harmonies & more. Classic keyboards and synths often appear in their songs. Influences of many of the top bands in the 60s and early 70s can be heard throughout their music along with some of the production styles that were top notch in pop and experimental 60s and 70s music.

One of the most amazing things about this band is that it's derived from the works of Bruce Gombrelli alone. From composition to final master the product remains under the control of a single individual. How many bands can make that claim these days?

Songs are originally created from guitar, keyboard or occasionally a mandolin instruments. The songs are then built out part by part. Scratch vocals often can be found in early takes but get refined and changed during the recording and mastering of the song. Lyrics typically go through many iterations before settling to the final melody and lyrics.
