Album Notes
Evening Light is about that special time when the sun begins to set and the color of the sky begins to change. The clouds begin to show colors of pink, red, and orange. It's about that experience that we all have in our own way and reflect upon. These tracks showcase that moment in time occurring in different places.

Inspiring new music - definitely check it out!
If you are looking for extremely well-written and played music, look no further. I took a random chance on this album and was really impressed. I've listened to it several times since I bought it. Some standout tracks are "Heaven', "Skyline" and "Dream in Motion". There are a song or two that don't fit the overall flow of the album, but not so much to take away from its brilliance. Great composing, memorable music and it stays with you. I did some searching and saw he has done some music for a movie, but I coudn't find it anywhere. Check it out! You won't regret it!

One of the best hidden gems of our generation
I have had the pleasure to listen to Austin Hayne’s music before as I’ve worked with him on different projects. Austin has the distinct ability to recognize those spots in anyone’s soul that have to be turned emotionally for music to really grab you and knock you out. Very few people know how to do this while scoring for cinema or games. Austin is one of those guys.

His latest work, and first solo album, is a complete departure to everything Austin has done before. It’s definitely edgier and, I would dare to say, rebels against everything in Austin’s subtle nature. It almost seems a complete separate beast at first glance, until you start to listen closely, and recognize Austin’s stamp all over the place.

This is a musical journey and Austin boldly expresses what he wants to say in a bombastic manner, and not holding anything back. The album opens with “Dream in Motion”, and, as the name implies, it has the feeling of escaping into a dream. The louder "Endless Freedom” kicks in after, unapologetic about its power, and yet, he still manages to be subtle and even sensual in “The Evening Light”, which has a very exotic and far away feeling to it, and, along with “Traveler” and “Skyline” make up for the most interesting, dynamic and awe inspiring work from this “new” Austin Haynes style. There are other tracks that find Austin more in his accustomed way such as “Together Again” and “Heaven”, but even there, Austin work feels fresh and new, and you certainly can notice how he has matured and evolved over the years. My personal favorite is the gut-wrenching “Sunset Heat”, one of those tracks that once it grabs you, doesn’t let go.

I find it wonderful that Austin has finally decided to release an album and share his incredible talent with the public. I can only hope it’s the first of many more to come!

Absolutely Beautiful Instrumental Music!
Austin Haynes is a rare talent! His music transcends you into another place and time and it will simply blow you away! Every track on this self composed instrumental CD is amazing in its own way and is just absolutely beautiful... It will take your breath away!! You will be so happy to own this album! Austin's music will relax you, and especially the next time you are stuck in traffic, I guarantee you will find yourself playing it over and over again! Enjoy!

Simply Gifted Composer
I have been a fan of Austin Haynes for many years, and while this may be his first album that is out for sale, I have countless songs that he has composed over the years while becoming one of the best composers of our time. His talent is not one that is taught, it simply 'is'. So many emotions are brought out with this album, from joy to sorrow, he truly makes you feel through his music... MUST LISTEN!

Such an AMAZING piece of art!
For those who know Austin, know that he's just not a composer, he's a very unique and special artist. Unlike some, he has the gift to enchant us and stimulate our minds by painting rich, brightful and meaninful images, while we're listening to his tunes (wich, by the way, I prefer to call them "art"). Austin doesn't simply compose music, he crates art.

A true artist is the one who, more than the ability to create his "art", gives "soul" to it!
That's Austin :)

Absorbing, Brilliant, insightful - GREAT CD!
Having heard some of Austin's music before, I was expecting something slightly different. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of emotion, range and composition of this collection of songs. I turns out what I was expecting was actually there, I just had to listen closer. :-) This is a special album and I highly recommend it over the latest Miley Montana CD or most other recent CD's. It's complex, plays well with repeated listens and has a wonderful ethereal quality to it. He plays all of the instruments too, which is always worth an extra star. Standout songs for me are "Traveler" "Skyline" and "Dream in Motion", but all of the songs standout at some point. Buy this today!
