Album Notes
In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the music of Autumn's Child, Cedar n Sage Music is proud to present "Balance".
A collection of music featuring Mark Holland, Native American style flutes. A mix of up tempo rhythmic pieces juxtaposed with reflective, meditational ideas. Genre bending. Showcasing the versatitlity of the Native American style flutes. "Sunrse" and "Sunset" bookend the album with thought provoking native flute solos. Three "Balance Interludes" appear throughout the recording for Mojave flute with singing bowls, Anasazi flute with singing bowls and Xiao with gongs and bowed gong.
The remaining bulk of this work includes a variety of moods and musical feels from upbeat to serene and pastoral. Other instruments include cello, piano, guitar, percussion and harp. The basic premise for this album is the idea that balnce in music can be acheived and enjoyed in a continual flow. All ideas working as one whole, complementing each other in harmony and balance. In a capsule this recording encourages peace within, equally with your neighbor.

Fantastically Balanced!
Autumn's Child, a group of wonderfully talented musicians, lead by the consummate flute player Mark Holland, are always musically in balance. This fifteenth anniversary CD so aptly lives up to its title with a collection of songs that displays a "just right" variety of emotions and perceptions that can bring you into such a relaxed and peaceful state. A great offset and balance for the often hectic and anxious lifestyles so many of us are exposed to nowadays. Kick back in your favorite easy chair, put on the headphones, pop in the "balance" CD and just let it wash over you - pure bliss! I have almost every CD Autumn's Child and Mark Holland have produced, and each and every one is a fresh and wonderful musical experience each and every time I play it. All are 5 star materials and after fifteen years I'd like to say they've reached a pinnacle with this production, but I cannot. Why? Because I think they're really just getting started and there is still much, much, more wonderful music to come from this incredibly talented group. You want help with your balance? Get it musically right here! I couldn't more highly endorse it. You'll be very glad you did.

absolutely wonderful
I have several of Autumn's Childs Cd's and they continue to get better with each new release. I use many of Autumn's Childs Cd's in my yoga class which are GREAT.It sets the mood for a peaceful and focused practice. The songs of "Balance" are good for the spirit and to go within and spend sometime with your inner self as you listen. I definitely would reccommend it!!
