"Going Somewhere" is Avi Rothbard first nation wide release on the Midlantic label from 2002. This CD has put him on the map among the most important jazz guitarists of his generation. An NYC resident since 1999, Mr. Rothbard has worked with jazz greats such as Freddy Cole, Gregory Porter, Ben Riley, Wayne Escoffery, Vaughn Freeman, Jay Leonhart, Mike Clark, Sachal Vansandani, Grant Stewart, Harry Allen among many others. Avi Rothbard is also a guitar and organ combo expert and continues to be “on call” with some of the best organists around NYC and around the world.
