ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bad Apples was formed in 2004 by Matt Bogdan (lead singer/guitar) of Perry Hall, Maryland and Mike Happel (drummer) of Catonsville, Maryland. After gaining recognition from the local Baltimore music scene, Bad Apples kicked off their first summer tour, Freshman East Coast Tour, in the summer 2006. The Band played shows from New York to Georgia, gaining momentum and new fans with each show. Steve LeBrun (bass guitar) joined the Band for the tour and was the final puzzle piece needed to take the Band to the next level.

"And I feel we've reached the next level," says Bogdan. "This is our first real release into the music scene and it's a big step for us." They release their debut EP at the Recher Theatre in Towson, MD March 30th, 2007 and played to a 500+ crowd.

After the Band's CD release a fan commented, "What keeps me coming back is that not only the absolutely amazing performance, but how the band speaks to the crowd." Fans religiously come to see the Band, and it is clear that they know then Band has come to see them as well. The Band has performed with nationally known acts such as Jimmy’s Chicken Shack, Cinder Road (fka Plunge), June, Hot Rod Circuit and Mohair internationally known.
