Album Notes
Following in the path of classic harmony groups like Boyz II Men, the Temptations and Take 6 but with a modern, urban, post-millennial twist, the five member vocal band Ball in the House brilliantly blends a wide range of influences, from classic R&B to pop, hip-hop and gospel.

Granite Avenue
My wife heard Ball in the House live and was blown away, so we purchased this album. The singers prove that the human voice is truly a musical instrument. A cappella music leaves no room for mistakes or vocal flaws, and these performances are flawless. Combine that with a recording of superb quality and you have a five-star winner!

Ball in the House is simultaneously one of the world's best a capella groups AND one of the best R&B groups. Their latest release, Granite Ave, shows the band in top form, begging comparison with the very best in all of American popular music. Think Earth, Wind and Fire. Think Phish. Think Miles Davis Quintet. Think Public Enemy. Think Basie Band. Hyperbole, you say? Take a listen.
With Granite Ave, vocal groups of the post-MTV era have been put on notice: prepare to be exposed as hacks by the real thing. Make way for Ball in the House!

Granite Ave/ Ball in the House
My daughter saw this acapella group at a middle school program (really, no kidding!) and was just smitten with this music...It is really a testiment to the tremendous vocal abilities and talent these young men possess. Awesome disc!!

BitH/Granite Avenue
Had no idea what a treat I was in for when my mom and I went to the BitH concert in Huntsville, AL 12 Sept 08. I bought a CD after the show, then ordered one for my mom. We both love their music and think seeing them in person is fabulous. Wish BitH would schedule more tours in the Southeast - we'd love to see them again. Ordered BitH Christmas CD; can't wait to get it.

Probably the best new music ever!
Every song is a new experience. Music touches the soul. Cover song "Superstition" is better than the original! Harmonies are close and smooth. The best of Ball in the House to date! These guys are getting better with each release.

Think About It & Granite Avenue
EXCELLENT! It is hard to believe the music of BITH is a cappella. The harmony and rhythms of this soulful sound is refreshing. More importantly, the heart of their message brings the positivity needed. I am so glad Aaron's cousin Carleigh introduced me to this great music and great group of young men! I can even share it with my students!
