Album Notes
On the heels of her début award winning solo CD - Crystal Clear - Bambi Wolf has continued on with her unique electroacoustical compostion & arrangement style with deeply moving, fully orchestrated songs & instrumentals in her new release: Broken. The pieces of this album touch on various topics of being human - from the fear to love to heartbreak to finding friendships that last a life time; from being lost to figuring out how not to fall; about the intersections of people and things in our lives that influence us to choose our paths ... or which allow our paths to choose us. And all pieces are surrounded by the theme of humanity's brokenness that comes with the living of life, encouraging listeners to take a moment to consider that perhaps we are all a bit broken, that perhaps we are all in the same boat, and thus ... why not find a way to have compassion, forgiveness, letting judegement go, til we find a way to outlive our brokenness? The album also begins with a message to NIH - featuring a narrative by researcher & explorer, Dr. Bill Shuttleworth. Don't miss the story behind this piece! There is an insert that comes with this CD with a summary of his story, as well as words and dedications for all songs & instrumentals.
