Album Notes
Michel Banabila and Yasar Saka played for the first time together at the Womad festival in Reading, UK 1992. They released two cd's, 'A living thing' and 'The Desert Dreamfields'. Yasar Saka, born in Usak, Turkey, is a multi-instrumentalist. He studied music technology at HKU, Hilversum in The Netherlands. Michel Banabila, born in Amsterdam, is a composer in the electronic music scene. Besides electronics, he uses acoustic instruments, found objects, field recordings, and vocoder-plugs.
