Mainstream Media says, “Baraka is a master word-smith delivering his fervent message with extraordinary verbal dexterity and social relevance. He’s a nomadic bard, a hip mystic and modern-language Sufic-style philosopher-poet all rolled into one!"

In Arabic Baraka literally means blessing of the saints. This is the first volume of a passionate multi-pronged project to re-enchant the luminous voices whose words have become worlds. In the origami fabric of space-time there is a wormhole of wonder that awaits us in the oratory of these original rebels.
Baraka’s music is an authentic representation of the regions where these mystics lived. All narratives are adapted from translations by various scholars using liberal amounts of modern poetic license. Feminine overtones feature prominently in place of masculine nomenclatures for the divine, eternal, & cosmic consciousness. Also, "God" has been replaced with 'Love' in order to secularize the golden thread of truth that pervades this poetry spanning the millennia 1100-2012 AD.

Baraka’s intention is to awaken humanity to the ‘Penultimate Voice’ which resides each individual. Baraka is the Universe’s voice echoing off the beat of your heart. Other volumes featuring various cultural voices & re-articulated ‘lost narratives’ are to follow.
*100% of the proceeds from this project go towards the Lovevolution Foundation, Maui’s public charity committed to global transformation through individual transformation.
