ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is the 2nd release from "The Barbarellatones", and it is a little surreal! Singer/Guitarist Robbie Quine from the glam-goth band "Sex With Lurch" is breaking the rules again by mixing dark-psychedelic glam-rock with campy, B-movie Sci-Fi themes, kind of a musical pop-art. Robbie goes for the strong songwriting wholeheartedly, and if you like early Bowie and the Velvet Underground, you'll love "The Barbarellatones!"

Ultra Cool and Glam. I love 'The Return of Mothra' and 'Birdy Friends'!
A dreamy mix of B-Movie, Glam, Dark-Psychedelic and just plain weird! 'Birdy Friends' sounds like Syd Barrett on Thorazine!
