Album Notes
Some of the tracks on Frank Barile's first full length solo album have their roots as early as 1999, while some were written just days before being recorded in 2003, thus this album is the most comprehensive collection Barile has released to date. The album soars through a barrage of different emotions, from the post-adolescent rage of "One Good Reason," to the unbridled passion and love that defines "This Slowdance." Barile also touches upon different musical styles on this album. "Another Night With You" may just be one of the most tender lullaby songs you will ever hear, while the switch from electronic to real drums in "I'm Awake" turn this acoustic ballad into a powerhouse, emotional rock song, and then there's "Virgin," a harmonica-laden, Dylanesque number that may just stick in your head for weeks at a time.

Frank Barile is an album for lovers of songs. Whether crossing genres from folk to emo to rock and back, Barile does it with solid, catchy melodies, powerful vocals, and smart, emotional lyrics.

The real m'f-ing deal!
I was a fan of these guys for a long while and I actually found them through another cool band the Joe Rogers Band now renamed "Back to Blonde". Anyways.... These guys have an awesome acoustic sound and Frank's wailing voice hits the spot and his emotion is true. He is in a new band now and I am awaiting their first release. Support these guys because the bubble gum rock/pop of today sucks!
