ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Barry Chern has been listening, studying, teaching, absorbing and transmuting "Roots" music since before hardly anyone else was calling it that.

Alive Alone is a collection of primarily the solo acoustic guitar and vocal side of my music, with one mandolin track and one guest fiddle appearance thrown in as the exception to prove the rule. Played 'live', but alone in the late night/early morning hours.
