Album Notes
Barry Hunt teaches guitar and songwriting for a living and this album is a celebration of his understanding and experience. Delicate ballads are followed by full-on rock anthems and these are punctuated with reggae, folk-rock and pop. His voice has been compared to Chris Rea, Mark Knopfler and even the 'Man in Black'! Critics have also drawn many comparisons for his guitar playing, though this is more difficult to spot as the styles are so varied.

This album is the result of a year of consolidated writing that came about when Barry studied a Masters Degree in Songwriting at Bath Spa University in England - a course that is unique throughout the world!!

The results are a truly varied album which will include something for all mature tastes!

Quality at last
Finally an album of class material, well constructed songs, well performed and not short on soul and integrity. The comparisons of Rea, Knopfler and Cash are actually valid but I think Barry Hunt adds his own essence to this mix rather than simply taking from these artists. My favourite album this month.
