Album Notes
Barry J. Gillis co-produced, co-wrote and starred in the now cult classic Canadian feature film THINGS (1989) starring adult film star Amber Lynn, which was directed by Andrew Jordan, and re-released on DVD in 2008. WICKED WORLD, a 90 minute feature shot on 16mm film, which Gillis wrote, produced, starred in and directed, will be released on DVD in 2009, and will include commentary as well. Gillis who has always been a fan of various types of music decided to go into the studio and record a hard rock album with a couple of power ballads thrown into the mix as well. "AMERICAN JUSTICE" was the result of these recordings. Barry J. Gillis, who was born and raised in Toronto, currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta and has no future plans on living anywhere else, because he says "THE CITY OF CHAMPIONS is my kind of city, my kind of place, and my kind of people, and I don't desire to live anywhere else, although I love visiting other cities, and other places..."
