ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This cd SPEAK SOFTLY is relaxed modern jazz , very strong on melody , a mix of 5 standards and 4 original songs. The trombone style is very soft and warm so if you like mellow tones you will enjoy. We also have some beautifull guitar playing by Brent Mosley and Glen Mont. Modern jazz music in a relaxed style.

Barry Mosley played with the great Chet Baker in the mid 1980's and is active as a Jazz trombonist in Los Angeles. For a sample of straight ahead jazz in a trio setting check out the " JAZZ TIME " Cd as well.
