Album Notes
American Singer Songwriter Barry P. Foley is releasing his 5th collection of original songs with travels back and forth from Texas to his hometown in southwest Virginia. Kicking off with a jumping Texas Swing song titled "Texas Has Got It All". On to his childhood home at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with "Mama's Front Yard" and the first song he wrote at the age of 17, "Moonshine Daddy". He introduces you a beautifully talented singer-songwriter from Germany, Danny June Smith on the peppy "Heartache And A Headache". Dropping you back off in Texas with the real Mexican Trumpets in "Remember The Alamo". Hop back on the train to a small town with "It's Hard To Be Cool In A Small Town". Lastly, the title song is his tribute to musical hero Merle Haggard with "On The Road With Merle"! Recorded at McClain's Recording in Garland Texas, Produced by Mike McClain.
