ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Batja is a singer/songwriter and guitarist. She spent her life in and around New York City listening to all kinds of music. The song, "On Your Spaceship" is her hope to share her life with another person. The listener is also taken through her travels in this space and time. She dreamed of playing music forever and finally embarked on that dream when she met John Zeman. He has been her teacher and collaborator, playing drums, bass, keyboard, and recording her songs. She has put an interesting reggae twist on Dead Flowers by Jagger and Richards, playing both guitar and percussion. Her songs critique society, relationships both good and bad, and explore her philosophy for survival. There are many moods and many styles from ballads, hard driving electric guitar rock, acoustic guitar, folk, reggae, and blues.
