Album Notes
To Whom It May Concern: About ten years ago, something strange happened to my father. He started staying out late, playing his guitar at all hours, and asking people to call him Geezer. “The Geezer”, had one sole purpose in life: Geezers Garage Night. A gathering of local musicians at the Granite Rail Tavern in Quincy, MA. The band started off with, my little brother (Bayou Boy), Uncle Joe, Geezer, and myself Lonesome Lil. But our members continued to grow the longer we were a part of the local music scene we created. We became acquainted with so many talented musicians who are too numerous to mention, although some of our closest friends include The Tokyo Tramps, Preacher Jack, Joey Fingers , Al Hendry, and the Quincy Rock Preservation Society. The BBO has recorded 18 songs, this album contains the latter nine. These are songs for summer Friday nights, for pizza and beer, Taverns and campfires. – Son of Swamp Thing.
