Album Notes
Big B Brenner was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. Been a working musician for off & on 30 years. Moved on out to Hollywood at 20 years of age. Has performed alongside such notables as renowned blues guitar maestro Albert King and Eric Burdon of Animals fame.

Continuing in the grand American tradition of solo country bluesman and folk music songster. A lifelong proponent of fingerstyle, bottleneck slide and ragtime guitar picking.

Big B sings and plays the real Country Folk Blues music from Mississippi Delta, Texas Plains, Piney Woods, Piedmont Seaboard, Louisiana Bayou and of course...Chicago's South Side.

This music oozes out of the weird American night. Fine, mellow and yet exciting and invigorating, like the most distinct of distilled spirits.

BigB is sure to it a Whitehouse reception, Royal Wedding, 3x7 Birthday bash, BBQ house party, jumpin' country dance, roadside jukejoint, secluded barrelhouse, grits & gravy diner, or poolroom saloon.

Brother Brenner is the real thing: No 15th fret pyros, no two octave vocal stretchs...Just Big B's deep soulshakin' Bluesy thump, righteous vocals an' sweet toneful tasteful masterful pickin'. Traditional, yet retains an' executes a style all his very own. Big B is an honest humble master of roots American music an' storytelling..Have Mercy!

The real thing!

Classic Great Blues Music
I've been playing this CD ever since I got it. Reactions from those who hear say- that it's the coolest stuff they've heard in long time. The smoothness and bluesy tones of this disc are great for getting your feet dancing and butt shaking. I am glad to have added it to my music library. It's a favorite already!

Must have stompin' blus'!!!!!
First the rythem gets ya. Then watch out for Big B's handle on the steel guitar. Took me down to the bayou. Try to look past the poor spelling. There is nothin wrong with my ears. Add Blues, Rags & Stomps to your list of must have music.
