ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From the beautiful Central Coast of California comes the music of Big Daddy's Rhythm & Blues Band. Music lovers from all walks enjoy the variety this talented band plays. The original band formed in the late 70's and has been going strong ever since. There have been occasional changes in personel but the music remains strong and memorable.
Stan (the Rock) Manning lays down a sharp, blistering bass foundation with Greg Barnes pumping as the rhythm machine. Their steady beat offers up the perfect complement to Dan Colvin's searing sax and soulful vocals. Crackin' Jack Collins' down and dirty, swinging, stinging guitar licks bring a classic blues feel to the music of Big Daddy's. Joe Pilloud (Doctor Feel Good) seasons it up with his free spirited interpretations of both standards and original compositions with smooth and direct vocal skills, while offering up movements of pure brilliance on the B3 and piano. Fans have found that Big Daddy's Rhythm & Blues Bands smokin' versions of old favorites and their house rockin' originals keep them coming back for more!
