ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Seven Worthies... of the bamboo grove" is the debut CD from Becki diGregorio.

Released in 1996, it features John Wedemeyer, Randy Hayes, Don Lax (Camper Van Beethoven), and special guest Dave Gregory of XTC on guitar and keyboards. Nine original songs plus a cover of the 1960's psychedelic hit "Open My Eyes" by Todd Rundgren's band "The Nazz."

"...a thrilling haze of retroscented sounds through which her Grace Slickisms plunge and soar."
-- Joe Cushley, MOJO Magazine, UK
