Album Notes
“I’m renowned for having a bit of on stage banter and tend to save up all my humour for when I’m performing! People often tell me that if I don’t make it as a muso, there’s always a spot for me in comedy!”

Originally from the sunnier seaside of Albany, Western Australia this now Perth based country artist Belle Harvey is a well-seasoned performer with 10 plus years up her sleeve, cashing up performances around Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and the UK.

Belle Harvey motivated by all styles music in roots, folk and alt-country will take you on a road trip through her life inspired stories and influenced tales of happiness and heartache…the very infamous ‘good old country gal’ stuff.

Throughout her solo career and various outfits, she has opened for many acts such as, The Waifs, John Butler Trio and Clare Bowditch, Magic Dirt, Nathan Gaunt, Damian Leith, Diesel, Dave Mann, Andrew Winton. Also sharing the bill with the likes of Mental as Anything, Blue Shady, Renee Geyer and performed at festivals including Tamworth Country Music Festival (NSW), Gympie Muster (QLD), Bungendore (NSW) West Coast Blues and Roots Fringe Festival (WA), Nannup Music Festival (WA), Wignalls Blues Festival (WA) and Southbound (WA).

Whilst on tour some years back playing Bass for Ruby Boots, her appetite for vintage guitars united an instant friendship and musical bond with Australia’s Hillbilly Daddy, Bill Chambers. Since then, Harvey has performed WA and interstate, co-written and continues to co-write with the singer/songwriter/producer at any chance! In follow up from her 2013 self titled EP, Harvey is due to release a single from her debut album Produced by Bill Chambers, this November.

“Brendan Gaspari, my brother from another mother, my right hand, left hand(ed) man is also a permanent fixture, co-writer and a “remind me again what key this is in?” contributor. He and I have been playing together now since 2007, so he has a lot to answer for in regards to the conviction of my songs and performance.”

Now, after working hard on defining and shaping her sound and with the infectious vibe she radiates from the stage, armed with her multitudes of instruments, charismatic energy, passion and often with her battle worthy band alongside, her energy is one not to be reckoned with!
