Album Notes
Ben Escoe is a songwriter, guitarist and singer from Albany, NY. His influences range from The Beatles, The Smiths, and Steely Dan, to newer artists like John Mayer, The Tragically Hip, and She Wants Revenge…..and you'll hear it all in his music, along with observations on relationships, the choices we make, joy, regret, and some "wink-wink-say-no more" humor. The band is acoustic guitar-driven, with stately piano and rock-solid drumming. Discover Ben Escoe today!

Haunting and yet catchy
This album has a rare combination of being haunting and yet also catchy on first listen. The lyrics and layered instrumentation have complex elements that revel themselves on repeated listening, but the music is still immediately accessible. This unique singer-songwriter clearly has intelligence and deep emotions as well as chops. You'll find yourself humming Right as Rain and Honey Wagon days later, but also thinking about the meaning behind it all. I actually did research on the term Honey Wagon to understand a second level of meaning, that doesn't happen every day!
