Album Notes
Benjamin Akira Tallamy (Born April 6th 1984) is an Anglo-Japanese writer and musician.

Growing up in the sleepy county of Devon, Ben left school at fifteen and was notoriously truant throughout much of his education.
Exposed at a young age to an abundance of music and literature, Ben was primarily self-educated – encouraged by his loving family towards more creative endeavors.

He is primarily a guitarist and flautist, but has also appeared on recordings playing violin, ukelele, mandolin or clarinet.

He has been a founding member of The Pyrates and The Mutineers but has since gone on to front indie band; Catherine And The Owl and folk-trio, The Demagogues. He often plays solo sets but prefers good company.
He has played with many acts, such as Jim Causley, Wojtek Godzisz of Symposium, Enon, Ill Ease, Martin Carthy and Jackie Oates. And more recently Ben also played with The Imagined Village, singing a duet with Eliza Carthy on Cold Haily, Rainy Night.
