Album Notes
Originally released in 1999, remastered in 2008, this CD includes a new version of "Let It Be Real".

Recorded in less than a year, I was really flying on this project! There were two reasons for this. First, I was inspired by a bunch of new tunes that seemed to flow out of me. Second, I was able to capture them with the new generation of digital multi-tracks. When I got my Fostex DMT-8, I couldn't get over how fast I could go - when you work largely alone, having the machine push the record button for you can be a big help, and once a take was finished, I didn't have to wait for the reels to rewind. Wow!

A couple of new collaborators got involved: Drew Van Allen played lead bass on "Flowers In The Garden", and Gerry McDonough contributed lead guitar on "Angel". Oliver Russell helped out again too, with backing vocals and some keyboards on "Living On Love".

This edition of “Wheels of Change” features my first collaboration with Jean-François Dumais who plays drums, bass, and sings backing vocals on a new version of “Let It Be Real”.

Of the CD's I've made, this is one of my favourites.
