NEW AND IMPROVED bennettsongs WEBSITE!!

To former, new, and potential fans, please accept this official announcement of my redesigned and improved bennettsongs website at www.bennettsongs.com! If you feel inclined, please feel free to share this announcement with anyone you think might enjoy my music.

I intend for 2007 to be an exciting year for my music. My goal is to release my second CD of original songs. I've selected songs that I plan to record and I've worked with other musicians to develop how I wish to record them. I believe you'll like it!

In the meantime, please check out my enhanced website with all its bells and whistles. In particular, I invite you to take a look at my:

1. "Latest News" page, where I intend to keep you informed of important developments

2. "Anthem CD" page, where you can listen to or read the lyrics of songs on this CD or you can purchase the entire CD

3. "Downloads" page, which points you to various sources from which you can download my songs including iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic, Y! Music, and RollingStone

4. "My Next CD" page, which allows you to listen to rough versions of some of the songs I intend to record

5. "Do My Songs" page, which encourages fellow musicians who like my songs to record or perform them

6. "Links" page, which displays recommended links to various music-related pages I've established and additional important music and other sites

7. "bennettsongs Radio" page, where you can listen to music I probably like

In addition, I¹ve joined the MySpace crowd with the creation of www.myspace.com/bennettsongs.

On my MySpace, SongRamp, and ezFolk sites, fans can post reviews of my music. This is in addition to your opportunity to review my songs in my CDBaby page. I'd LOVE your feedback! I ask you to consider writing your own review of what you hear.

Finally, I intend to update about my music on my sites and via a mailing list. Please let me know if I can inform you with bennettsongs news via email.

Thank you!

Thank you for visiting my CDBaby site! I hope you like the sound clips of my songs from my self-produced album ANTHEM that you've checked out so far. Since I am a non-performing songwriter, I was blessed to join on this project an extraordinary collection of exquisite musicians who together brought together the work of my life to share with you.

You've probably noticed that the ANTHEM CD is unavailable for sales. Currently I don't have enough physical copies remaining of my initial pressing of ANTHEM to sell it in that form. So, I am working through CDBaby to offer digital copies of my songs from ANTHEM as downloads via various online music services like iTunes, Rhapsody, BuyMusic, Emusic, the new Napster, AOL's MusicNet, MusicMatch, and many others. I understand it takes several months to be set this up. In the meantime, please contact me if you wish to chat about this. Also, come on down and visit my website at www.bennettsongs.com to learn more about ANTHEM and the great musicians who made it possible..

Thank you

Bennett

Dec 07 2005

Bennett Brier was born in Beaumont, Texas, he lived his teenage years in
Houston, Texas, served as a VISTA volunteer in Arkansas, and currently
resides in Austin Texas. He hopes to retire to a life of musical creativity
as soon as possible!

Bennett has composed music for over 30 years and has written over 150 songs to date. He is a member of BMI®, the Nashville Songwriters Association
International Austin Chapter, and the National Academy of Recording Arts &
Sciences, Inc. - Texas Chapter.

ANTHEM, his 1st album of original music, was recorded with the help of such
outstanding musicians as Van Wilks, Christine Albert, Jay Sims, Jeri
Arsenault, Chris Maresh, Art Kidd, Conrad Deisler, Deb Schnack, Richard
Bowden, Joe "King" Carrasco, Gene Elders, and his daughter, Jessica. ANTHEM
received airplay in the US, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, and Slovenia
and was even pirated in Sweden. He is now preparing to record a 2nd album
for release.

Bennett's songwriting is recognized by the Southern Songwriters Guild and by
Songwriter's Monthly magazine. If it must, his music can be classified as
AAA, Adult Contemporary, Americana, or folk-rock. Bennett blends folk,
blues, country, rock, pop, and bluegrass influences into his work.

He cites his major musical influences as Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Joni
Mitchell; the talented friends he's played with over the years and the
sensational musicians he's seen perform countless times in Austin. Bennett
says, "The greatest little club that ever was in Austin, was called
emmajoes, with a small "e". For $3 dollars tops, night after night after
night, I could watch and listen to folks like Nanci Griffith, Butch Hancock,
Lyle Lovett, Townes Van Zandt, David Halley, Lucinda Williams, Robert Earl
Keen, and Jimmie Dale Gilmore!" For a short time, he and a friend performed
in Austin as the duo, the Stragglers.

"When I was 17, I saw Bob Dylan perform twice the same night during his
"comeback" tour and left those concerts overwhelmed and transformed by the
raw poetry and timelessness of his music, words, and performance," says
Bennett. "Inspired by these shows, I learned to play guitar and began
writing songs. One day I wrote something really good that seemed to come
from a place I never knew existed. I realized then that maybe I could write
songs that mean something to myself and to others." Bennett adds, "They say
that you spend your whole life making your first album. I feel that with my
first CD "Anthem", for whatever it is worth, I've realized a lifelong dream
to share, through my words and music, something timeless about myself."

Impressive Debut
Bennett Brier's debut cd "Anthem" is an impressive collection of original compositions which travel down winding roads of love, spirit and self-examination. The lyrics are accompanied by a diverse blend of musicians who give the songs an interesting perspective. Christine Albert does a fine job on "Lost and Found" with vocals that would make John Wayne melt into a daisy. The harmonica intro on the title track "Anthem" is a Traveling Wilburyish splash of folk/rock that plays over and over in your head. Look out for this Brier dude, he's a tunesmith with a firm grip on the vision of song.
