How We Do

by Benny Sinclair

Since disbanding Melbourne-based hip hop trio Bouncer and experiencing a ripple of radio and TV airplay, Benny Sinclair has spent the past few years in the studio writing and repositioning himself creatively, finally producing what will be his debut solo album to be released mid-2017, called The Impeccable Word, produced and mixed by DJ Rellik. First single off the album is an uplifting, melodic blend of hip hop, soul and reggae with a nod to Benny’s South Sea Island heritage and featuring his former bandmate, Leighton Hema on lead vocals. Titled “How We Do”, to Benny it represents freedom and good vibes: “This song is an introduction to myself as an artist, my energy, my music, my spirit, my pursuit of happiness,” he says.
