ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
All stories are original and were recorded live at SpeakeasyDC's Open Mic Storytelling Series which takes place the second Tuesday of every month in Washington, DC.
We are a non-profit organization, so all proceeds help us keep this event and other programs going.

In Volume 1 of Best of the Speakeasy, hear stories about coming out to your grandmother, fighting a sumo wrestler, putting your heart on the line, losing to your arch-enemy, discovering your "manhood", and more.

You can find out more about SpeakeasyDC and about the artists on the album at http://www.speakeasydc.org/index.php

Thanks to Thievery Corporation and ESL Music for taking care of post-production.
