ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Cooling Pond is an eclectic blend of the atmospheric to the narrative, the serene to the emotional, the groovy to the catchy. Vocal, instrumental, acoustic and electronic, Cooling Pond is hard to pigeon-hole. One early fan has described it as “chill – with a twist”.

beVertical is Chris Neal and Ian Davidson: two writer-producers with a long history in pop, rock, film and television.

These tunes are the expression of their desire to combine existing forms such as chill, funk and jazz and take the mix to a wider audience.

Joel Davis - Toronto

It grows....then grabs.
This CD is a real surprise. It's hard to catagorise cos there are so many styles - songs, instrumentals etc.
I kind of liked it at first....(more interested than liked), but it grew on me, bigtime.
I'm now on my 10th-11th time through and LOVING it.
