ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In today’s world where CD music projects almost litter the streets and some type of band is rehearsing in every other garage or basement on the block, it’s exceptionally rare to find a group in its formative stages with a history comparable to Beyond Reach.

Founders Randle Chowning and Larry Lee began their partnership together by being on the ground floor of the formation of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils in the 1970’s. Chowning sang the band’s first chart success “If You Wanna Get To Heaven (you gotta raise a little hell)” in 1973. One year later Lee wrote and sang “Jackie Blue”, the group’s classic radio smash hit.

This their second release presents not only the addition of new member David Wilson’s voice to the blend, but also his expertise as an acoustic multi-instrumentist. Listeners will find “Waiting On The Sun” to be a much more pared down production compared to their 2005 début CD.

Love these guys!!!!!
Always been an Ozark Mountain Daredevil fan. If you are too, you'll love this CD. Randle and Larry continue to produce music that resonate, while the rest of the Dare's seem to be stuck back in the same, albeit still good, 70s music. Every song on this CD is a great song! Pick this one up, you won't regret it.
