ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
On the 22nd of July the Gurupurnima celebrations were held in honour of Premavatar Sri Swami Vishwananda in His ashram Shree Peetha Nilaya. During this most wonderful day, in a beautiful talk (satsang*) Swamiji addressed the Guru-disciple relationship at great length. He gave valuable guidance and shed light over many aspects of the relationship, which for many, defines their lives. It is truly a vital talk to listen to for anyone who either has a Guru or one day aspires to find One as it outlines exactly what is required inside of ourselves in terms of commitment and surrender to bear the fruits of such a relationship. Of course, Swamiji adds his own blend of Love and spice that He is known for and captivates the listener with His simplicity and purity of Love.

* the term 'Satsang' in Indian philosophy can be interpreted as either being in the company of the 'highest truth', being in the company of a Guru, or being in the company of an assembly of persons who listen to, talk about, and assimilate the truth.
