Album Notes
This is the second of a pair of CD’s produced by this Atlanta based working big band. This CD features 3 of our vocalists who are some of the best Female Jazz performers in the US. Laura Coyle, Toni Byrd, and Roberta Longacre perform with this big band on a regular basis and we thought it time to capture some of what they do so well. We asked them to pick some of their favorites from their huge songbook and we present those choices here. After setup by Ryan Goodwin (producer) we gathered at the recording studio and created this CD in one evenings work. The musicians in this fine big band are a cohesive and fun bunch and represent some of the best jazz talent in the Southeast.
