ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hawaii is where it all began for Bill. Aunties and Uncles were always bringing musical instruments over to play at the old house. The house was always filled with music Bill recalls. With all of the genres of music that was shared between them he watched and listened and grew to appreciate all kinds of music. It wasn't until later in his life that he would begin to discover his families roots and his own healing gift. His vocal range is unique and his voice will amaze you and transport you to another place. His Cousin, was Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, "IZ" who sang the popular and endearing song of all time, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow & What a Wonderful World". A song that has marked the passage of time. Everyone who has ever listened to the words and music will forever be affected by it's message of peace and hope. Bill honors his cousin with his own unique version of this magical song.
This Album also features the songs of the great artists of our time. Their music gave meaning to the life of this Hawaii born singer songwriter, who now makes his home in the great pacific northwest where he was awarded best singer/songwriter of central Oregon. With his own original songs interwoven among these great classics, Bill's voice and talent shines through.
He still visits Hawaii every chance he gets and sits in the living room at his Mom's house to play and sing for her, his aunties, uncles, cousins, with family and friends all joining in. Music will always be a part of his life which he believes connects us all. Cultures and languages are leveled and all walls begin to come down with doors unlocked and open... That's what music is capable of and he hopes you'll feel that way too. This album is Bill's #1 bestseller. Enjoy!

Bill Keale's choices of songs were excellent.
Very good choice of songs. I enjoyed most of them, especially Over the Rainbow. I never tire of playing it.

Bill Keale's unique voice compliments these popular songs
Bill Keale sings remakes of some popular songs of the past adding his own talent and unique voice to them, yet keeping true to the sound of the originals. I really enjoyed this cd and the songs he chose. Some of the recording quality doesn't do justice to what his voice sounds like in a live setting today, but it still is enjoyable.
