ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
An experimental sound collage using noises from space. Imagine a remote listening post 50 light years from Earth. Isolated, robotic controlled and collecting data for Galactic Scientists, it patiently samples all the electromagnetic radiation that bathes the cosmos. Occasionally a recognizable audio signal appears from the home planet. Standing out from the background like a familiar voice, it is soon lost in the noise of electromagnetic oscillations from unknown energy sources. Perhaps we are listening to entertainment, or music, from another start system? How can we know? Because it is alien and unrecognizable to our Earthbound ears. Perhaps there is a signal hidden in the depths of the audio chaos? Can we decode the meaning, or should we just let the intuitive feeling of the noise wash over our senses? Listen now and decide for yourself. Eerie and melancholy meanderings for the Cosmic Traveller.
