ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bill Ward and Mike Bratt created this song to commemorate the tragedy that happened on Christmas Eve, 1872 in Westfield New York. A broken flange on the tender wheel caused the train to careen off of the trestle near Prospect station, killing over 20 people. There is a memorial at the site - now a part of the extensive Chautauqua Rails to Trails system - near the Prospect Station trailhead. Proceeds from the single will go to Chautauqua Rails to Trails.
