ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Billy and the Buttons performed in the Hartford, CT area in the 1980's. Billy Dougal wrote most of the songs and the musicians arranged and played them with wild abandon. And there hasn't been as wild a band in quite some time. A myriad of styles are represented; punk, rockabilly, country, ska, swing, and good old catchy rock and roll. Each song has a concept, and many have humor. This is not a copycat band. Original and fun. Live and studio recordings exhibit a lot of spirit. Bill Flowerree, guitar, Jim Wark, guitar, Dave Johnson, bass, Brian Johnson, drums and Billy Dougal, vocals. Also; Bob Genovesi, piano, Andy Bassford guitar.
