Album Notes
bGb, Billy G. Benson grew up on the South Side of Chicago. With 90% of Family listening to Country Music, Billy was always interested in that kind of Music. He started off playing the drums at the age of 5. Picking up the guitar at age 13. bGb started to write songs in his later teen age years. In and out of a few bands playing drums, his style was always to his own. Since he couldn't fine the right band to play drums with, Billy started putting time into writing his own tune's while performing Classics Country Cover Tunes. Today Billy likes the Older Classic Country verses the Newer "Nashville" type sound. When asked what type of sound he has, Billy aways talked about the style of Bakersfield. He likes that type of music over todays, what they call newer country. Billy has toured the country as a drummer and a singer song writer. He writes his own tunes and produces his soon to be Wife "Anna Saxton". Anna and Billy have songs they have written together that have the same style Billy goes for, seeing bGb Writes with Anna. They are currently Living outside of Houston Texas with band member's like Keyboard Bob- that has played in Mickey Gilley's band and knows Willie Nelson personally. Billy's guitar player, Glen is a grandson of Gene Watson. Bass player Mark is on Billy's album "Nashville TN" and will be touring with Billy and Anna this summer on the coast of Houston Texas Country Music Scene. bGb has an incredible story about how he met Anna Saxton and what he had to go through with some fake Record Co. trying to sign him. Billy has walked away from several fake deals. The right deal has to come along with the right ways of doing things before bGb will go forward with someone else at the tour bus wheel. Billy has had the opportunity to play with some of Country Music's best Musicians in Nashville TN. Grand Old Opry member Smiley Roberts, Phil Anderson-on 4 Golden Record from the UK, Mike Chapman-Garth Brooks bass player, Richard Bailey-Banjo player of the Steel Drivers and many more. The review Billy is getting from his new Album has now taken him to the heights of meeting people like Tommy and Angela Mouser from Stryx TV in Houston Texas, to all kinds of Managers and Industry Leaders. Companies out of Nashville like Cash Box have recently contacted Billy. However Billy and Anna Know the opportunity in Houston is going to be huge. Take a listen you'll see for yourself. bGb and Anna Saxton's popularity is forming in Texas due to the old fashion ways of "Word of Mouth", So when your done listening, tell a friend, post it on your Face Book, Tweet it, Youtube it. This method has Billy almost maxed out his friend limit on his Face Book page. You can fine him @billygbensonband. Stay tuned in, because what the Benson's have in store for the future is going to be simply amazing.
