ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The album Grateful is a gospel CD with all songs written and sang by Abiola and Bimbo Owoeye - Koleosho. She is a Nigerian born artiste, married to Abiola Mofolufunsho Koleosho and blessed with 2 beautiful children Olakunmi and Fedora.

Haven been blessed by God Almighty with this unique singing talent to bless others, she has been in the music ministry for over 20years and has had the opportunity to work with various churches, ministries, groups, bands and solo artists at various levels.

Her first major performance was in Ado Ekiti at the Federal Polytechnic with the Goldmark band and the Christian union choir at the time (in the 1980s) where she worked with the likes of Tony Odion, Tola Kolawole, Adegboye Oladimeji, Ogunyemi kehinde, Sam Kolurejo, Absax, Ikeoluwa Fasakin and lots more while studying for Ordinary National Diploma (OND) at Federal Polytechnic.

After completing the one year industrial attachment in Lagos, she furthered her Higher National Diploma(HND) in Business Administration at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos state Nigeria where she continued in the music ministry at the Christian union fellowship ,business administration departmental fellowship as well as the school’s mass choir.
She took on various leadership positions and was one of the pioneer members of the popular gospel singing group ‘’midnight crew ‘’where she also served and contributed to the success of the very first album ‘’fusion - the clergyman and the midnight crew’’. At thesame time she lead her local church choir(the victorious voices of the victory chapel magodo).

In 2002, she was posted to Bauchi State, Nigeria to serve her country for a period of one year as is the norm in Nigeria. There, she worked with the Nigerian Christian Coppers Fellowship(NCCF) and was appointed choir leader in NCCF Misau Local Government Area, Bauchi. While she served in Misau, Bimbo organized and held a concert with the sole aim of uniting all the churches and body of Christ in Misau as there was a lot of disunity and disharmony going on at the time. The concert was a huge success with massive support from both executives as well as members of NCCF Bauchi, all churches in Misau and the community at large.

In 2006, She relocated to UK to join her husband after getting married and had since then nursed various ambition which includes holding worship concerts/seminars, mentoring young people most especially, coming up with an album for the sole reason – show and announce what she stands for within the body of Christ, i.e. ‘’true, pure and sincere worship’’ which I believe is lacking and people are yarning for.

This album would not have been a reality without the help of God Almighty and the support of my loving husband. I am more than grateful to you Oh Lord! And to my husband, for giving and still continues to give me every push and support needed and as a matter of fact wrote one of the songs in the album I am just not complete without him. I love you dearly honey!
