Album Notes
Recorded in Montezuma, Costa Rica and Tampa, Florida. The lyrics and horn lines inspiration comes from the Southern Nicoya peninsula of Costa Rica. After several months spent in the rain jungle and the vibe of the people, the lyrics came naturally. We had massive bonfires on playa Montezuma and Mal Pais nightly, along side locals and travelers alike. Fire dancers would perform in the streets and we would join them there in the small villages. Everyone had rhythm and talent!

This song is special for us as not only was it largely written in this special place, many of the horn lines and percussion tracks were recorded in our dear friends' small, typical Costa Rican casita, right in the jungle which inspired us. After several years of not releasing any new material, Bird Street Players is ecstatic to finally release our new single, Exit 32.

Bird Street Players is a fun loving, genre hopping group of extremely talented musicians who love both live shows and studio work. We thrive on the vibe and we hope you will buy this single which we have worked extremely long and hard.

Performance by Bird Street Players, includes Jeff Curtis (Vocals, Aux Percussion), Joe Cosas (Keyboards, Trombone), Bryan Woeller (Guitar), Rich Russo (Drums), Kenny Green (Bass), Cameron Willinger (Trumpet). Composed by Joe Cosas and Jeff Curtis. Recorded, Mixed, Mastered by Joe Cosas of Citrus Music Company LTD. Album artwork is a photograph by Jeff Curtis, taken in Mal Pais.
