BIOGRAPHY
B.K.
(Pianist/Singer/Composer)

B.K., like Michael Buble, Diana Krall and Harry Connick Jr. has for over 27 years entertained audiences around the world with his smooth blend of jazz, blues, and R&B, drawing comparisons to artists such as Jeffrey Osborne
and Stevie Wonder. With exceptional skill at the keyboard and a vocal range that extends beyond the limits of it classification (baritone/tenor), B.K. has captivated crowds in the U.S., Germany, Japan and Egypt, to name a few, adding to an already impressive fan base with each passing show.

Over the course of his career, B.K. has played alongside many of the most recognized names in the business, including Little Richard, Johnnie Taylor, Billy
Preston and B.B. King. He has also worked extensively with smooth jazz phenomenon Gerald Albright and Michael "Patches" Stuart, Al Jarreau's lead
trumpet player, as well as a host of others who have recognized in B.K. a musician of standing whose talent runs deep.

B.K. began composing at an early age as a member of the choir in his Father's church in Rock Island, IL. At age 12, he entered his first original song into a talent show and won, an experience that inspired him to pursue a career in music and develop his skill under a variety of seasoned tutors. B.K. went on to write and record his own original music and has appeared as a guest artist
on a number of other recordings. He continues to find new ways to redefine his art and keeps a steady schedule of live performances.

Each performance is an intimate mix of elegantly interpreted classics and original compositions, a graceful display of deft musicianship capable of
winning over a crowd of any size or persuasion.

"B.K. brings everything to a performance that an audience could possibly want," raves Peter Johnson, Editor of 'Jackson Today'. "With technical skill, creative
flair and a charismatic personality that is both disarming and inviting, B.K. is a must see."
