by Black Kettle

We are a female fronted quirky indie band with pop sensibility and a rock edge. We sing happy songs about sad things, and maybe you know what we're talking about, and maybe you can sing along.

Album Notes
This CD took 8 months to record, most of which we did ourselves in our apartments in Boston.

The Boston Phoenix heard it, and titled us one of the top five Boston bands to look out for in 2010, and we hope that you do keep an eye out for us.

We are a DIY indie rock band, and we played almost all the instruments on it, and had some help from our other musical friends with the horns, drums, bass and lap steel.

Kailynn only used one guitar pick to record every guitar on the CD. Minus one part, that was played by my good friend Peter. The pick was promptly lost at a show.

We've spent a lot of time observing and contemplating your feelings- and all things considered, we know this has been a really hard year for everyone, we know you've been through a lot. This CD is titled Narrative because it is our side of the story, but we really think it could be yours too:
