ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Two upbeat tracks from this modern NY singer songwriter, recorded in the simple style of Elvis' early Sun Sessions (1954). This 2 sided single is a departure in style for Blake Ian and reminiscent of artists like Violent Femmes and Jonathan Richmond.

Recorded in 1 afternoon in Blake's home studio with long time friend and drummer Lee Diamond, who played on Blake's 2005 release Alchemist.

*Diamond used only a single snare drum for this session giving it that minimal 50's sound.
