Album Notes
Recorded winter 2009, mixed 2012 at Go Play With Traffic Studio in Milwaukee Wi by Dave Schoepke and Mastered by Paul Kneevers at Kneever Kneeverland. Your Ugly Smile features a montage of diverse Milwaukee musicians in different configurations, all songs were composed spontaneously and no digital editing or overdubbing was done at any point during the sessions, each musician produced themselves as such. Each track is a one of a kind piece played only at the time of the session. Players on the album are: Sean Williamson(Pedal Steel) Dave Schoepke(Drum Set,Percussion)Matt Turner(Bass), John McWilliam(Guitar,Vocal), Joey Carini(Guitar,Bass,Moog Taurus Pedals,Theremin), Alex Stewart(Guitar), Stas Venglevski(Accordian) and Matt Miller(Bass,Trumpet). Blank Radio, the brainchild of Dave Schoepke, Matt Miller and Joey Carini continues to thrive and plans on more contributions from the deep music roots and affinity for improvised music that exists in Milwaukee...look for more weird music in the future!
