Album Notes
Gurf Morlix recalls the Lost Muscle Shoals Recordings

Early 80s. Somebody wuz shellin' out some $$ for Blaze Foley to make an album, in Muscle Shoals. He called me in LA and offered a plane ticket. I flew. I realized Blaze had been binge drinkin' for some time, and doin' whatever drugs came his way, but this wuz a real shot. Professional studio, world class session players, and a chance at the big time. He still had the great songs. He rose to the occasion. What could possibly go wrong??

The story is kinda legendary - government authorities confiscating all the newly pressed records in some kind of drug raid or something, except for the stack Blaze had been given. The ones he signed & traded for drinks have become quite valuable. With good reason. This album is a treasure. If you're a Blaze fan, you must have this album. On vinyl, as it wuz intended.
