Album Notes
Bluebone's third full length cd, "Radio" is their best, in a lot of ways. It captures some of the live energy of this band while getting a clean studio sound. The best of both worlds.

These guys perform hard all the time. Their music is tight and each musician brings his own finesse to each cut. The music is clean, bluesy, and modern. Rockers like it, old folks like it, blues people like it, and even kids like it. Everyone likes this band because they are playing honest music that you just don't hear very often in these days.

Blues rock with heart, with skill and finesse- that's Bluebone.

very good cd

Paul Bondarovski, Midnight Special Blues Radio

Great... no... Greatest!!!
Jay Bethel was absolutely right to have announced RADIO as Bluebone's "best yet" album. I'd dare to affirm that, up to now, it's the best Contemporary Blues album of the year. It's like a good old wine - the deeper it gets inside you, the sweeter it tastes...

Really great modern blues;original songwriting;good musicianship!
Take ZZ Top, sprinkle a little Steely Dan, and you blend two 70's-80's bands into 21st Century blues. Fun songs, great licks, and lots of energy make this a worthwhile staple in the CD changer or on your i-Pod playlist.Try out South Jersey's finest, then see 'em live - you'll love the experience.

Charles Billiris

Breathing new life into the blues!!
The Latest offering from this South Jersey crew is sure to set you on your ear. The orchestration has taken the blues to a higher more refined level. These guitar players can really make it cry and sing and the addition of steel guitar was pure genius. Some A&R guy need to make the ride down the Garden State Parkway. This is a must hear, must have!!!

Gary Paul Dunn , V.P. PME Records

Grooves strong enough to dance on!
Bluebone cooks up a rich flavorful gumbo, with grooves strong enough to dance on!A very tasty rhythm section plays funky, to bluesy, with authority.Guitar playing is loaded with Memphis soul licks and a steamy blues undertone that flavors every track.Lyrically, Bluebone stands above other groups in this genre ,with cleaver twist and heartfelt sentiments. Add all these ingredients together, and you definitely have Bluebone's best and most satisfying repast to date!

Hans Eigenbrot

Music for every music library - totally cool
The thing about blues format is that it can be formulaic. Not so with Blue Bone's Radio. The virtuosity of the members of this band leave the listener asking for more. The music is tight and clean and played straight from the gut. There is an honesty to this album seldom seen today. I have this album in my car, my mp3 player and my living room which is a testament as to the universality of the music. Awesome Groove!
