ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The debut album from Blue Dali combines rock, alternative, progressive, & classical music. The music is influenced by the darker composition style of Radiohead, Muse, the Beatles, Faith No More, Dream Theater, the Cure, the Cult, and the Who. The vocals are reminiscent of Queen, the Beatles, and Pink Floyd. The lyrical content that tackles philosophical, surrealistic, and existential themes. The title track on No Exit...and other Existential Drama is a musical interpretation of the short story No Exit by the French existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre. The album features pop/rock songs like Diamond Lust and Shine on Through, which tackle the overlapping themes of love and lust. Songs like Twisted Eyes and Bitter Season have a schizophrenic progressive feel to them. While others like Waves and Across the Dark dive deep into the dream-like world.

Blue Dali has a sound like no other band. It is difficult to classify the music but the results are worth listening to. If you like original songs, dark themes, borderline progressive music and vivid dreamscapes, then this album is for you.
