"The Blues Cats: Intoxicated....again".

What's This Record All About?
It's about life.
It's about faith, love, lust, heartbreak, drugs, sex, alcohol and puppies.
But most of all it's about music.
Over the course of two short years The Blues Cats have developed a unique style of music.
Some call it Blues, others call it Rock.
Call it what you want, but when you hear it, you'll find the music calling you.
Take a listen. You'll like what you hear.

The Skinny on the Album

A little over a year ago The Blues Cats literally sneaked into the studio and produced a 9 song CD they called "INTOXICATED". No engineer, no producer, no mixing or mastering. Just some very talented artists who barely knew how to operate the studio equipment. But they PRODUCED a CD. They shopped it around a little, impressed the right people and got the financial backing they needed to do it right. And Right it is. Armed with professional sound engineering and producing, they took those 9 songs back into the studio, added a few more and on May 5th, 2004 The Blues Cats released a full length recording, 14 tracks, over 1 hour play time, appropriately titled "INTOXICATED....again". 13 tracks of Jake Walker's original songs and music, with 1 cover tune done just like you remember it and like you've never heard it before.

The Band
The Blues Cats are just a couple of years old as a band, but the musicians have over a 100 years of playing experience behind them. They are the real deal.
This may easily be the best group of musicians you've never heard of.

The Cats
Kevin "Smokehouse" Browne - Lead Guitar
Terry Carmony - Harmonica
"Turk" - Bass
"Beat" - Drums
Jake Walker, Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Composer
Featured on keyboards for "INTOXICATED....again" is the incomparable Rodney Stepp.

The Future
We're working on a new album and will put it here, on CD Baby, as soon as it's finished. In the meantime you can take a listen to the works in progress at www.DeepWaterTraders.com

Tina & Scott

Very Smooooth, flows from tune to tune.
Good rock/blues blend. Good listening at home or driving. When is the next CD gonna be out? How about playing in Northern Ohio sometime?
