ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Bob and Al Show deliver a decidedly diverse blend of music resulting in an original sound appreciated by a variety of listeners. From one song to the next, the lines between musical genres are blurred by musical compositions crafted naturally without interest of fitting into conventional molds. Combining unique rhythms with elaborate free form lyrical styling, The Bob and Al Show remind you that music provides balance and harmony to all that we do, and that any story can be put to music.

Located in the Midwest , The Bob and Al Show has its roots in progressive rock and roll, while also finding motivation from many of classic rocks foremost artists. In combining their passion for these influences with their appreciation of new rhythms and styles they seemingly create a dynamic new form. Bob Rowden and Allan Diamond have shared an interest in music since their days as classmates, joining forces on previous endeavors to exercise their creative abilities. Bob Rowden plays a variety of musical instruments which include guitar, bass, and keyboards; finding himself fully exploiting the jangle of the 12-string guitar on this latest effort. Allan Diamond also takes a multi-faceted approach to his choice of instruments, demonstrating proficiencies on the harmonica, guitar, and bass, along with his unique vocal style.

This is an exceptional cd; I highly recommend it.
Love this cd. The songs are varied and everyone of them is a winner. The music isn't cookie-cutter, same old stuff. It keeps your interest. The instrumentation is top notch--great sound blends; vocals are spot on; production recording is excellent; musicianship and creativity are leading edge. I highly recommend this music.

Fresh, different, with a touch of mystical rhymns and lyrics
I'm normally a person that only likes a couple songs on a CD. I'm happy to say I love all of these songs. The music and the lyrics are different from anything I've heard in the past or present. It's great to hear something new and unique. Of course, I have my favorites but it is nice to enjoy an entire CD.

Unique style, all their own. Give it a listen, you won't be disappointed.
I especially like “Hole in my Shoe” & “Umbrella Drinks” - Make me 5 more, I need to think! And the harmonica work, on Elevator, nice touch.

If you want to hear a unique, new sound, this is the CD for you. Right on Bob and Al, you have cranked out a great Album.

This will have you swaying the entire time.
This CD encompasses some exciting new twists with harmony. It displays passion from both artists who can go from one rhythym to the next with out falter. One thing that I enjoy too is that the CD flows in different patterns to keep it stimulating for the listener. It's even better if you see them live!
