ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
We don't really call them Records anymore, but this album truly is a 'record' of where Bobbie is, in her life, in her writing, and in her spirit core. She's fully embraced her abilities as a songwriter & mandolin player. These songs, all written by Lancaster, were chosen from 2 live recordings. One at the Indy Folk Series in Indianapolis, IN, and the other at WFHB's Local Live Concert Series, in Bloomington, IN. She's joined by friend & musician, Nick Einterz. The two have played as a duo since 2009, and his graceful guitar & backing vocals bring out the very best in Bobbie's songs, supporting every lyric.

Bobbie's first album brought together many of her musician friends to create a wonderful production, but her mandolin playing was timid & barely present. What you'll hear here is Bobbie Lancaster, in her truest form. Nuvo Magazine wrote that Bobbie is "a performer who's not afraid to show us her soul". You will see it, clearly, in this album.

Her hope is that upon listening, you will be embraced by Light & Love.....
