Reading My email????
The sound on this record, just like on Bob Burger's other records, is very pure and timeless - clean, meticulous and stripped down. And, the lyrical content on at least three songs floored me - it's almost as though Bob's been reading my email. Maybe he has been - perhaps he's been reading yours, too. It is a rock record that would have worked in the 1960s as well as it works today - nothing at all trendy about it. His musical collaborators, featuring Jimmy Leahey, Odell Davis, David Anthony, Lisa Bouchelle and Southside Johnny Lyon, among others will blow your doors off. Check it out - you will be very glad you did - so glad, in fact, that you'll probably end up buying it.

better all the time
Since I've know Bob ever since he dropped into the Asbury music scene from Erie, PA once upon a time, I know his music well. I've heard the finished songs and the demos... what's amazing about Bob is how he is a wonderful tunesmith... a songwriter who captures you with hooks and atmosphere--- and lyrics that reach in and touch. He takes his influences and put them into the blender with all of his genius and the result is music that's got heart and soul...and a little fun thrown in for good measure. This is just another of sample of a musical Einstein---wrap it up and take it home... you'll listen to it for hours on end.
